For a while now I’ve been selling these glass protectors for swamp cooler mounting on eBay exclusively. The swamp coolers originally CLAMPED to the glass, Yes clamped with screws. The rest generally rest metal on glass. It just takes a small bump to SHATTER a window causing hundreds of dollars in damage. Don’t let this happen to you!
This channel is lined with 1/4” of foam rope FULLY insulating your glass from the steel and weight of the cooler. Comes with foam strip to fit it into non-clamping models. (big wide 3/4”+ channel on vent underside, or the three glass clips.)
Also available: Free mount version! (Pictured) (Some coolers had NOTHING on bottom for a window channel. This glass guard comes drilled and with the hardware to BOLT the window channel to your cooler with 3 small pan head bolts. We recommend replacing the three clamp style mount with this style bolt on bar. The original glass clamps wear spots on the glass during contact.)
