After years of restoring rare bullet style swamp coolers to full functionality, we’ve gathered the components that consistently need replacing and combined them into one affordable kit that can get your vintage bullet cooler back to fresh clean working order in under an hour! That’s right! These coolers are rare but actually are the easiest model for rebuilding with fresh filter material and water circulation!
This kit includes:
1 genuine wood fiber aspen pad pre-bound in a mesh, no packing loose fiber material or reusing old moldy pad parts. Just remove clean any residual material and replace the filter pad, easier than a car air filter replacement.
1 water pump to circulate water from the tank to the top of the filter to drip down and wet it. (The original water pumps are never still functioning, 50 year old o rings and corrosion ruin the suction)
Hoses and adapters to connect the water tank hose outlet to the pump and hose to go from the pump to the top of the filter. (Just tuck the hose termination (final output) into the top of the filter pad. Just test and watch it squirts into the pad not shoots through. Check valve provided for troublesome water tanks.
